POLYMATH BY DESIGN

the statement

I learned from artists that you should make one.

Here's mine:

I write stuff.  I make stuff.   I do stuff.

You can check out all my stuff (that sounds terrible, but l'm keeping it), right here (this is also an excellent SWV song).

who am i

An empathic exception.

Not the kind that proves the rule, the kind that makes you question why the rule existed in the first place.

To answer the question, honestly, I'm focused on building toward the moment when I can answer WHO AM I with full NYC swagger (maybe half a smirk even) and say:

"You're asking the wrong question."

What we should all be asking is why. Why am I here? What does this world need from someone built exactly like me?

what i do

As far as my occupational label, that's a hazard.

I could run down the list of the many 'er, 'ist, and 'itch labels that apply to me, but that's too many hats and I only have one head.

See?!!  Hazard.

Google me and you may find a few name droppings here and there.

You can choose to dig deeper over there, or stay right here where it's all nice, neat, and organized in piles.  Eventually someone should pick these piles up.

They're like bat guano, there's some good sh*t here.

what's my purpose

I'm still figuring it out.  Every single day.

The ingredients are there: empathy, neurodivergence, design, creativity, collaboration. Making people feel seen and heard. Making their lives a little easier.

It's a potent recipe.

For what exactly?

That's the part we figure out together.

Let's see what we can cook up; and let's do it as Maya Angelou so eloquently put it, "with passion, compassion, humor, and style."
