11.2025 - ongoing
a participatory project to support environmental efforts in a mixed industrial-residential Brooklyn neighborhood. The project entails tree pit cleaning and tree planting in partnership with BIG Reuse and prototyping a community trash robot with Cornell Interaction Lab.
penguin puzzle - lawn on D
07.2015
design and development of 3D coroplast penguin puzzles created for Lawn on D Day of Play, a day-long public activation that allowed participants to interact with artistic and playful installations. Using simple cutouts, people followed instructions to assemble the puzzles and create larger than life penguins.
waterworks
03.2012-06.2013
a collaborative design project with Brooklyn New School (BNS) and Moorhead & Moorhead, an architectural and industrial design firm, to develop and deliver a low-cost kit-of-parts that explored BNS' 2nd grade level studies in water and irrigation, emphasized learning through play, and promoted intentional use of the schoolyard as an outdoor classroom. The end product was a modular water-conveying play set.
